ASGNO COVID-19 Programs

The Autism Society of Greater New Orleans is dedicated to improving the lives of all affected by autism. To further this mission during the global crisis brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, ASGNO is offering a variety of virtual programs and resources aimed to decrease feelings of isolation, boredom, and stress for the families in our area. We are working diligently to expand what we are able to offer during this time, so check back frequently!  Our current offerings include our Online Social Group for Adults with Autism, our Virtual Parent Support Group, and our Social Media Resource Schedule!

June Online Social Group for Adults with Autism (Formerly Virtual Dinner Party for Adults with Autism)!

ASGNO is thrilled to launch our Online Social Group for Adults with Autism (formerly Virtual Dinner Party for Adults with Autism)!  The social group will meet every Thursday in June. You can sign up any time between now and before the last meeting if spots remain. SPOTS ARE LIMITED SIGN UP SOON! Description:  The Online Social Group is designed to help reduce feelings of isolation and increase the opportunity for social interaction with peers as well as connect with people who understand you!  ASGNO Board member and Self- Advocate Cory Lang will be facilitating the social group. Virtual Parent Support Group

ASGNO is thrilled to announce our community-based parent-led parent support group!  Our parent support group is a safe place to seek advice, and support from your peers who are experiencing the same struggles that you are.  Seek solidarity, support, and suggestions that have worked for other people just like you!  Our Virtual Parent Support Group will meet every other Tuesday at 4:00 pm online on Zoom.  RSVP for the event below to be sent the meeting details, please do not share the meeting link and password with anyone, if you know someone who would like to attend, please ask them to RSVP.  If you have any questions, please email us at

Autism Society of Greater New Orleans is thrilled to have received 2000 masks, a generous donation from Make Waves, to distribute to Direct Support Professionals (DSP) and residents at Magnolia Community Services.
