The Autism Society of Greater New Orleans is dedicated to improving the lives of all affected by autism. To further this mission during the global crisis brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, ASGNO is offering a variety of virtual programs and resources aimed to decrease feelings of isolation, boredom, and stress for the families in our area. We are working diligently to expand what we are able to offer during this time, so check back frequently! Online Social Group for Autistic Adults
ASGNO is thrilled to continue to offer our Online Social Group for Autistic Adults! You can sign up any time between now and before the meeting if spots remain. SPOTS ARE LIMITED SIGN UP SOON! Description: The Online Social Group is designed to help reduce feelings of isolation and increase the opportunity for social interaction with peers as well as connect with people who understand you! Virtual Parent Support Group
ASGNO is thrilled to continue to offer our community-based parent-led parent support group! Our parent support group is a safe place to seek advice, and support from your peers who are experiencing the same struggles that you are. Seek solidarity, support, and suggestions that have worked for other people just like you! Our Virtual Parent Support Group will meet every other Tuesday at 4:00 pm online on Zoom. We are now offering our Parent Support Group by age. Our July 14th meeting will be aimed at Caregivers of children 0-15 years of age, and our July 28th meeting will be aimed at caregivers of teen and adults ages 15+. You are not required to attend the meeting for your age group, however we recommend it so you have the best and most relevant experience possible.
