Autism Prevalence Rate Increase

The CDC has published their Biennial Autism Prevalence Report and has yet again increased the prevalence rate from 1 in 59 to 1 in 54 children diagnosed with ASD each year.  It is still unclear if the increase is due to an increased risk of developing ASD, or if it is due to an increase in awareness and diagnosis.  Learn more in this article by the Autism Society of America.
