The Autism Society of Greater New Orleans, an affiliate of the national Autism Society, invites you to become participate in our 16th Annual Autism Awareness Festival which will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at First Baptist New Orleans, 5290 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124. The Festival is the biggest annual fundraiser and outreach event that we host to raise funds that we use to offer services to help empower, educate and support individuals affected by autism in the Greater New Orleans area. This event is a success year after year because of the support from people just like you! There are so many ways you can be involved and help us put on this wonderful event! Please use the form below to let us know how you would like to be involved. We are seeking Sponsors, Donations of food, silent auction items, and anything else that you think may be helpful, Vendors and Agencies to host tables at the fest, and Volunteers to help everything run smoothly!  Information about each way to participate is listed below the form button on this page, and inside the form itself.

Each year, 1 in 59 children are diagnosed with Autism. The Autism Society of Greater New Orleans holds an annual Festival not only to help raise awareness about Autism, but as our main fundraiser. Funds raised by the ASGNO are spent in the greater New Orleans area specifically to help children and adults with Autism and their families. For instance, each year we offer our mini-grant program to families and teachers to purchase materials and resources they need to support their child or student with Autism. We are always seeking to grow and improve the services we offer to the community, for example our new programs in 2019 included a social skills group for adults with autism, our first annual Sensory Sensitive Halloween Party, and a Sensory Sensitive Breakfast with Santa! Additionally, last year we provided information and referral to over 3,300 families and professionals who contact us for support, subscribe to our Email list, use our local resource directory, and visit our Facebook page and website.
